Poltergeist is a private app used only by Cara Rust with her own Google accounts.
With her permission, the app reads her Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets and Google Calendar, and can create Gmail drafts. It does this only to help her organise her own work.
Data is stored on her own computer. It is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. Text may be sent to an AI service (Anthropic's Claude, under her own subscription) to help her draft and summarise, and is not used for any other purpose.
The app's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access can be removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
